The Leederville Precinct is looking for a Functions, Reservations and Admin Assistant to join our crew as a casual team member working a minimum of 3 days per week and help us look after our beautiful and well-established hospitality precinct. We have many things on the go with our precinct being the home to The Garden, Servo Restaurant, The Leederville Hotel & The Red Room.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US

We are located in central Leederville near the train station. We are a well-established management team of hospitality professionals. We work hard, we have fun, we take care of each other, and have a genuine love for what we do. We are a large precinct with multiple bars and restaurants with a lot of variety that you're guaranteed to never get bored or restricted to one thing.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND DUTIES

We are looking for a friendly individual, who is organized, has an eye for detail, with excellent communication skills, and is available for an immediate start.

  • The role is for 3 days per week, including Saturdays. With more hours available dependant on business needs.
  • Assisting the Functions Manager in working with clients and all required key stakeholders to deliver a seamless experience from the initial inquiry through to seeking post-event feedback;
    • Liaising with customers for group bookings, functions, and general reservations.
    • Providing accurate quotes to clients.
    • Develop detailed run sheets for all events, liaising with the front-of-house team as required. 
    • Handling payments for bookings and functions including follow-up administration duties as required.
    • On-site function/event coordination.
  • Assisting the Office Manager with day-to-day general administration duties.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Have a sound understanding of hospitality functions and events.
  • Knowledge of Function Tracker and Now Book It or similar platforms will be highly regarded.
  • Have a strong level of computer literacy.
  • Friendly and professional phone etiquette. 
  • Has the ability to work well under pressure and always maintain professionalism and composure with the ability to think on your feet to resolve issues.
  • Self-motivated and hardworking.
  • Must be available to work Saturdays.
