Task & Responsibilities

Furniture restoration and finishing
Hand painted finishing
Colour matching furniture
Carpentry skills required:
Understand preparing, cutting and finishing of timber for vintage and antique furniture pieces. Must be able to route timber, join and assemble furniture using dovetail key as well as tongue and groove techniques.

Good organisational skills
Lifting of heavy pieces required
Furniture deliveries.

Qualification & Experience

To succeed you need:

A thorough knowledge of traditional furniture polishing including hand lacquering and French polishing.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience

a positive attitude, reliable and have a strong work ethic.
good communication skills
be a team player
be able to offer outstanding customer service

Driver’s License essential.
