About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Full- Time Gaming Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative team as a New Era Begins with Multi-Stage Venue Transformation underway.

 Duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Gaming lounge

• Ensure environment is appealing to all customers and that customer service is a key priority

• Assist General Manager / Marketing Manager to set up daily/weekly/monthly promotions with a view to uplift team performances

• Ensure daily clearances are completely accurately, securely and safely

• Provide ongoing analysis and strategic guidance to assist with the decision-making process relating to product mix and floor configuration

• Assist with recruitment, performance management and training of gaming staff

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

• Adhere to a high level of harm minimisation procedures and policies

• Maintain compliance and reporting in all facets of the role

• Maintain exceptional presentation standards in the gaming room

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure AML/CTF compliance. 

About you

Ideally candidates should have the following:

• Minimum of 2-years Gaming experience within a large venue

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Gaming Machines, Odyssey Gaming Systems and loyalty programs

• Ability to coach / lead teams and cultivate a positive workplace culture

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Current RSA, RSG / RCG and RMLV are essential

• Understanding of the Qld Liquor and Gaming Machine Acts

• The desire to be part of a productive and professional team

• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, weekdays and nights

• A high-energy attitude to match our fantastic team

• A Police Clearance Certificate (if you don’t have one, we’ll help you get it)
