Garden & General Maintenance All-Rounder – Toowoomba

We’re seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced individual to take on an autonomous Garden and General Maintenance role based in Toowoomba.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and delivering high-quality results. You’ll be responsible for maintaining both residential and commercial gardens and grounds, as well as performing general maintenance duties to ensure properties are presented and maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lawn mowing, hedging, pruning, and overall garden care

• Weed control, including safe chemical application

• Mulching, planting, and general grounds upkeep

• Gutter cleaning and basic maintenance tasks

• Cleaning and upkeep of commercial premises and communal outdoor areas

• Chainsaw use for trimming and debris clearing when required

• Identifying and reporting property maintenance or safety issues

Essential Experience & Attributes:

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or general property maintenance

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to work autonomously and manage your schedule effectively

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work

Required Licences & Certifications:

• Manual driver’s licence

• White Card (Construction Induction)

• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

• ACDC Certification (Chemical Handling)

• Chainsaw Licence or nationally recognised chainsaw training

Desirable Knowledge:

• Familiarity with Body Corporate environments and communal living areas, such as common property within strata complexes or retirement villages

• Understanding of the expectations for maintaining shared spaces to a professional standard
