About the Position
This permanent full-time position is part of the Parks & Environment Service Unit, where you will work with operational teams to deliver high-quality service across the City's parks and gardens. You will assist with turf mowing, garden care, planting, watering, chemical and fertilizer application, mulching, and maintenance programs, while also reporting issues and supporting the City's garden rejuvenation and turf renovation initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate with other areas of the business and perform general duties as needed.
About the Person
To be successful in this role you will need to have worked in the horticultural field demonstrating your application of technical competence in an operational environment, and because of this, you should have advanced knowledge of relevant safety requirements to ensure the safety of yourself and others. You will understand industry chemical and fertiliser application methods and be willing to adopt new work methods as well as looking for ways to make the process more effective.
You will need to hold a valid WA White Card and Current “MR” driver’s license
