Located in North Queensland, Ingham offers a laid-back lifestyle, with stunning island beaches and exciting outdoor adventures right at your doorstep. Whether you're into fishing and boating, hiking, or just chilling by the beach, the Herbert Region has it all waiting for you.

This is a permanent position in Rollingstock on a day work roster, including overtime and some weekends as required.

Your Role in Action

• Machinery's Best Mate: Be the go-to helper for tradesmen—fetching, cleaning, and keeping the machinery in top shape.
• Tool Time Master: Get hands-on with everything from screwdrivers to impact gun—if it's a tool, you'll wield it!
• Lift Like a Champ: Show your strength with regular lifting, carrying, and hauling to keep everything on the move.
• Clean-Up Crew Hero: Shovel, sweep, and hose down the work area, making sure everything stays neat and tidy.
• Safety Star: Lead by example in health & safety, ensuring every task is done with care and caution.
• Conquer the Workshop: From the workshop to the sugar hoppers, you'll be the go-to person for getting the job done, no matter where it takes you.

Your Winning Combination

We're looking for individuals who are ready to dive into something new—whether you're just starting your career, coming back after a break, or ready for a fresh start. If you've got a driver's license, can work well with others or fly solo when needed, have basic reading and math skills, with a strong work ethic and are excited to learn and tackle new challenges, then we'd love to hear from you!

Our ideal candidate will have a strong blend of theoretical and practical knowledge in mechanical processes, tools, and equipment. You'll be highly organized, with excellent communication, planning, and decision-making skills. Multi-skilled operator experience (Tractor) is highly valued. 

While the following qualifications are requirements of this role, we are prepared to provide training to people who possess the right aptitude:

• Forklift High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
• Rigging High Risk Work Licence
• Overhead Crane Ticket
• HR Licence
• Welding competencies are highly regarded
