Task & Responsibilities
- Mineral resource estimation
- 3D Geological and Domain modelling
- Alteration geology study
- Underground Sampling and mapping
- Geotechnical mapping
- Inspection of development headings and stopes
- Undertaking geological logging of UG diamond drill core
- Participating in the coordination and design of UG diamond drilling programs
- Updating the geological database
- Geological/structural wireframing using Surpac software
- Mining and exploration data management
- Mineral analytical assay QA/QC
- Mineral statistical analysis
- Pit structural mapping, ore block marks outs, ore block design
- Geological risk assessment
- Geological mapping using digital technology
- Guide the operations planning and mining teams to maximize ore recovery and minimize dilution
- Mineral Exploration Targeting
- Mineral exploration project planning
- Exploration project Audit and Valuation
- Field structural analysis
- Exploration Project Audit and Validation
- Technical Reporting to International Mining Codes
- Due diligence and project reviews
Qualification & Experience
- Master/Bachelor (Hons) in Geology
- At least 3 years experience in mineral exploration, mineral mapping using remote sensing
- Working experience in Gold, Lead, and Zinc. Working experience with more minerals will be given preference
- Field experiences in Mineral exploration
- Experience with various geological techniques like mining, boring, and numerical modeling
- Interpretation of drill hole data and validation of core samples
- Knowledge of JORC code
- Development of block model from drill hole data
- Generating drill locations from Geospatial data
- Any previous research experiences in the field of remote sensing in mineral exploration
- Successful candidates should have suitable skills in Geological Mapping, Rock recognition, Structural Geology, Remote Sensing &GIS, and Knowledge of Geochemistry and Geophysics
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Able to work individually and in a team
- Good problem-solving skills
