The perfect role for someone who wants to move in to or progress in a design focused position, planning and undertaking field investigations, designing dams, bridges, large earthworks, mining infrastructure, deep and shallow foundations, retaining walls, slope stabilisation, pavements, under ground and open pit mine design.
The role is predominantly Perth based with some fieldwork required, however, the candidate would not be expected to stay away for long periods of time.
An excellent opportunity is available for a Geotechnical Engineer within our Perth office. Our candidate would have a few years experience in geotechnical engineering and be looking to advance their career with a progressive multi-disciplinary company. The role, responsibility’s and pay will be tailored to the individual based on their experience, career goals and aspirations.
Our Geotechnical Engineers work on a range of geotechnical projects and will benefit from WML’s commitment to provide exciting and challenging experiences across our engineering disciplines. The company is currently engaged in a range of large scale residential, commercial, infrastructure and mining projects in Western Australia, from which WML is able to offer a variety of project experiences and interest to our graduates. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who possess a strong work ethic, can work in a team environment but also autonomously. The position requires the applicant to have excellent time management and written/verbal communication skills.
ABOUT THE ROLE

Designs and oversees the construction of various geotechnical engineering projects under guidance of a Lead Engineer.

Training will be provided internally and externally as and when required.
Selection Criteria:
The applicant must have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering, or a demonstrated equivalent.
The candidate must have the right to live and work in this location.
