Join our Application Portfolio Management team in Technology Core and Personal Tech who provide global services and operations supporting all Macquarie Operating and Central Service Groups. You will play a key role in how we manage, monitor and govern Technology related risks including software development and asset management.

What role will you play?

As an Associate Director, you will have overall responsibility for the standards related to managing assets and software development lifecycle related Technology risks. You will partner with the Global Head of Engineering on best practices related to management of the software development lifecycle, and set the strategy for proportionate risk management and governance of software development lifecycle and asset management.

You will define the minimum requirements to manage the above risks and maintenance of the relevant technology standards, oversee and enforce robust governance and monitoring of Technology teams’ compliance with technology related policies and standards, and design and automate metrics to manage data quality, exception management and risk management as well as manage escalation of non-compliance and control gaps to the Technology leadership team and Board. In addition, you will provide internal reviews of related standards to ensure they are cohesive and effective and partner with the aligned Risk Management team on assurance strategies.

What you offer

  • Prior compliance or risk management experience, ideally gained working in technology, financial services or a financial services regulator
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to influence decision making processes and strong problem solving skills
  • Leadership skills to guide, motivate and coach junior members of the team
  • Ability to interpret data and form compliance strategies.
