We are on the look-out for a Graduate R&D Chemist to join our team for a 12 Month contract working on product development projects based at our West Footscray Manufacturing site in an organisation that is focused on creating sustainable solutions in the coatings industry.
As the Graduate R&D Chemist you will:
Sample preparation, testing and application
Develop new and improved products that are required by the business units served
Support the manufacturing scale-up of new and improved products until they are proven successful.
Operating laboratory manufacturing and testing equipment
Good housekeeping by maintaining a 6S work environment
In order to be considered you will have:
A Degree qualification in Chemistry or a related science discipline.
Basic testing exposure
An understanding of and experience with Lab safety
Ability to use Microsoft office products including excel
Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to work logically through processes.
Good Communication skills both written and verbal
Enjoy working in a Collaborative and supportive team
