WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Kic are on the hunt for a freelance Growth Marketing Specialist to bring our paid and SEO strategies to life for 3 days per week (or 21 hours a week).
This person will be responsible for delivering insight driven paid strategies and staying up to date with the latest industry trends and channel updates. This role will also see the successful candidate spearhead Kic’s SEO efforts to ensure we are showing up in the right spaces to grow our authority and community.
Within this role, the Growth Marketing Specialist will be responsible for:
Paid Media Strategy and PlanningDevelop and implement strategic paid marketing plans to achieve business objectives via our paid channelsReport to the Head of Brand and Content to ensure growth efforts align with overall Kic goals
Paid Media Development and ExecutionWork with our Marketing Manager to create and execute end-to-end paid media campaigns across all Kic paid channels including (but not limited to) Meta, TikTok, Google, Apple and YouTubeManage the campaign setup, optimisation, billing and develop insight driven reportsEnsure all paid marketing materials and content are on brand and resonate with the target audience
SEO GrowthStrategy & Execution – Develop and implement SEO strategies to drive organic growth. This should work hand in hand with the paid media strategy.Content Optimisation – Ensure content is keyword-optimised, engaging, and structured for search visibility.Technical SEO – Suggest and implement improvements across site speed, crawlability, and indexability.Link Building – Execute strategies to earn high-quality backlinks and boost domain authority.Performance Tracking – Analyse SEO data, track KPIs, and optimise based on insights.Collaboration – work with design and communications team members for any significant website edits. Any minor edits will be fulfilled by the Growth Marketing Manager RoleTrend Monitoring – Stay updated on algorithm changes and emerging SEO practices.
Content Creation and MessagingPartner with Kic’s in-house design team and copywriters to own content briefs for all paid media asset creationProvide guidance on best practices and own all A/B testing efforts
Market Research and Analysis:Stay abreast of industry trends, new social channels and conduct market research to inform paid marketing strategies.Analyse marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate for this position must have:Strong background in developing and executing end-to-end paid media campaigns and providing budget recommendations and reporting/analytics (specifically tied to App/Installs tracking)Well-versed in SEO strategy, with clear examples around how you have driven growth for other brandsExpertise in crafting compelling brand messaging and briefing bespoke paid assets to drive customer acquisitionProficiency in digital marketing channels, including Meta, TikTok, Google, Apple and YouTube.The availability to work with Kic up to 3 days per week (or 21 hours per week) on a contract basis and to attend our office in South Yarra on a weekly basis.
