Hairdresser - Senior Stylist

HER Group Pty Ltd trading as HER on Oxford are seeking a full time Senior Stylist.

Duties include:

-    Welcome clients and identify their preferences by asking personalised and open-ended questions
-    Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to clients' face shapes and and bone structure
-    Wash, rinse and dry clients' hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners, whilst ensuring they are tailored to their individual needs.
-    Cut and style hair using professional equipment that is well maintained and serviced regularly.
-    Come equipped with a detailed ability to apply a wide range of hair colouring techniques, such as highlights, lowlights, scalp bleaching, ombre and balayage.
-    Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and buns
-    Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. colour protection creams and hydrating masks)
-    Form strong connections with both new and returning clients
-    Support booking management by liaising effectively with Salon Coordinators
-    Have a strong sense of ownership and articulation when it comes to note taking and record keeping of client histories.
-    Support with tidiness of stations and sterilise tools, as needed.
-    Provide details and specific retail recommendations based on the individual clients needs.

Experience required:

At least 3 years of experience as a Hairdresser
