HD Fitters - FIFO 2:1

HD Fitters | 2:1 FIFO Roster | $85–90/hr + Super | Multiple Sites

We’re currently seeking experienced HD Fitters for FIFO roles across Rio Tinto and BHP sites in the Pilbara region. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable client on long-term projects involving a variety of heavy earthmoving equipment.

Key Details:

• Start Date: 29th April 2025
• Location: Rio Tinto & BHP sites (Newman-based)
• Roster: 2:1 FIFO from Perth
• Hours: 11.5 hours paid per day
• Rate: $85–$90 per hour flat + super (paid weekly)
• Inductions: BHP or Rio Tinto inducted candidates highly regarded

What You’ll Be Working On:

• D8 Dozers
• WA500 Loaders
• 140M Graders
• 30T Excavators
• 40T Dump Trucks

Requirements:

• Trade qualified HD Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• Minimum 5 years post trade experience on civil or mining projects
• Strong diagnostics, repair, and maintenance skills on mobile plant
• Current BHP or Rio Tinto inductions (highly advantageous)
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
• Excellent attitude toward safety and teamwork
