HDPE Technicians & All Round Civil Operators

ACM Resources is seeking fully qualified and highly experienced HDPE Technicians and Plant Operators to join our crews across a strong pipeline of dewatering and water transfer projects, as well as broader civil, mining, and infrastructure works across Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales, and Queensland.

We are chasing motivated, skilled pipe liners and operators who deliver quality work, safety excellence, and project reliability. - This is not an entry level position

HDPE Technicians

• Minimum 5 years HDPE installation, welding, and fabrication experience (essential)

  • Must hold relevant HDPE Welding Qualifications:

    • PMBWELD301E – Butt weld polyethylene plastic pipelines

    • PMBWELD302E – Electrofusion weld polyethylene pipelines

    • PMBWELD309E – Weld plastic using extrusion techniques (desirable)

• Extensive experience working with pipe sizes from DN63 up to DN1000 across all PN ratings

• Hands-on experience operating DIXON, McElroy, and Worldpoly welding machines

• Proficiency in butt and electrofusion welding

  • Extrusion welding (desirable)

• Dogman ticket (desirable)

• Strong background in fabrication work for HDPE pipelines, manifolds, and structural assemblies (highly regarded)

• Previous experience on dewatering lines, water transfer systems, pump stations, and pipeline installation/relocations is a major advantage

All Round Operators

• Minimum 5 years experience operating in civil or pipeline projects (essential)

• Competent in the operation of:

  • Integrated Tool Carriers (IT Loaders)

  • Wheeled Loader

  • Excavators

  • Skid Steers

  • Graders (desirable)

  • Dozers (desirable)

• Experience in pipeline trenching, pad construction, and pipe handling

• GPS machine control experience highly regarded

• C6 Crane Ticket (desirable)

• Strong pipeline project background preferred

• Ability to interpret construction drawings, isometrics, and fabrication specs

• Additional Desirable Qualifications:

  • High Risk Work Licence (Rigging, EWP, or Crane Operations)

• Current HR Drivers Licence

Essential Criteria

• Construction White Card

• C Class Australian Drivers Licence

• Current Australian working rights

• Ability to complete online and in person inductions and training (as required)

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical with a drug and alcohol screen
