Head Chef

Full time head chef required for busy cafe in Dural, 40 hours per week, weekend work essential. BAE offers a fun work environment, positive team and regular clientele that become more like friends. Must have own transport as there is limited public transport options to the local area. (Located at the Village Green Shops, round corner Dural; around 10mins from Castle Hill) Hours midweek 6am-4pm. Weekend 6am-3pm. 

Job role includes:

Plan menus and design dishes based on seasonality and availability of ingredients

Roster, manage and supervise BOH staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene are maintained

Ensure that all dishes are prepared and cooked to the highest standard and presented beautifully

Maintain accurate records of food costs and wastage

Order and manage stock levels of ingredients

Ensure that health and safety standards are met in the kitchen at all times

Continuously develop and innovate new dishes to enhance the menu
