Head Groundsperson

St Joseph's Nudgee College (Est. 1891) is a Catholic Boys' Day and Boarding school in the Edmund Rice tradition for Years 5-12, with a student population of over 1730, including 315 boarders. The College is a member of the GPS Association and focuses upon providing a balanced holistic education for all. College staff are invited to participate in the College's extensive cultural, social justice and sport programs. 

The Head Groundsperson works with the Grounds Manager to run the day-to-day responsibilities of managing the College campus grounds, along with leading and motivating a team that strives for improvement and prides itself on excellent grounds presentation.

• A sound understanding of Health Safety & Environment procedures and standards
• Ability to work flexible hours
• A qualification in Grounds Management
• A keen eye for detail and pride in presenting high-quality Grounds
• A driver’s license is essential

• $72,500 – $74,000 per year plus super
• This position is a Full Time permanent role, 6.45 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
• Some extended hours or weekend shifts might be required (overtime/penalty rates will apply)
• Full PPE and uniforms will be provided.
• The successful candidate must hold a valid Working with Children Blue Card before they start.
