GALE Pacific, an established Australian manufacture, is seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead and manage the IT infrastructure and ERP solutions across our organization, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing modules).
This newly created leadership role will involve both strategic and hands-on management, providing expertise and direction for our ERP landscape while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive business transformation and operational efficiencies. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ERP solutions, acting as a consultant for our manufacturing facilities, and leading the day-to-day activities as well as key IT projects.
This is a permanent full-time role in a hybrid working environment based in our Braeside manufacturing facility.
The role:
- Lead the management of our current ERP landscape, ensuring effective and sustainable solutions
- Partner with internal stakeholders to drive process improvements
- Administer and support D365 across multiple environments, including integrations with other systems
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve helpdesk tickets related to D365
- Partner with the business and functional teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver technical transformation initiatives
- Identify training needs related to D365 and lead efforts to enhance user capabilities
- Prioritize and lead the implementation of IT projects to deliver the best business outcomes
- Participate in ad-hoc business-wide projects as required
The successful candidate should have: - Strong foundational knowledge of D365 F&O, with additional relevant certifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven leadership experience in delivering ERP solutions, particularly within Microsoft D365 F&O.
- Strong project management experience, especially in ERP implementation and business process improvement
- Experience in delivering business transformation initiatives and managing end-user training programs.
- Ability to ensure compliance with Group IT policies and current best practices
- Expertise in IT process mapping, service delivery, and effective change management
- Strong knowledge of the following technologies:
- SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
- Visual Studio
- Azure/Cloud services
- Power BI
- JIRA and SharePoint
- Office365 and hosted cloud solutions
