Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

This position is an integral part of our dedicated mechanical team.

This is a fulltime position for a highly motivated person to help further grow our expanding service team.

The successful applicant must have:

• Relevant Trade Qualifications.

• Experience in fleet maintenance and servicing.

• Heavy Vehicle experience in Rigids, Agitator trucks, Volvo, Isuzu and Hino.

• Ability to take directive, show initiative and work autonomously.

• Minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience on heavy vehicles and mobile plant.

• Heavy Vehicle license would be advantageous but not essential.

Your duties will include:

• Performing servicing, maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment.

• Fault diagnosis and trouble-shooting of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Ensuring compliance with National Standards and Accreditation Schemes.

The applicant will need to be medically fit and prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening.

Must be able to work independently off site as required.

This position is available for an immediate start. Some overtime will be required and the successful applicant will be required to join a weekly roster for out of hours call outs.

The applicant will need to be available for occasional field work.
