Heavy Vehicle Driver

JB Contracting is a rapidly growing contractor to the Mining and Civil Earthworks Industry across the goldfields of WA and the Pilbara.

We are seeking a multitude of Experienced Heavy Vehicle Drivers/Operators preferably MC Drivers (Road Ranger) with proven experience of getting the job done!

Roles include;

• MC Truck Drivers

• MC/Water Cart

• MC Truck Driver/Grader operators

• Dozer Operators

• Civil All-round Operators

This is a FIFO role Perth based only, on a 2&1 roster (week of days / week of nights / week off). JB delivers quality projects across the State so no 2 days are the same.

The successful candidate(s) will be well organised self starters with strong interpersonal communication skills and an aptitude to learn. You will need to demonstrate a “can do” attitude and be able to pass and maintain Pre Employment Medical checks and Drug and Alcohol tests. 

Key Skills and experience include:

• Proficient experience in the above Heavy Machinery or similar discipline

• Willing to do basic maintenance on vehicles - ability to change Truck Tyres a MUST

• Rights to work in Australia.

• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance (mandatory).

• Able to pass Drug and Alcohol tests on an ongoing basis.

• MC drivers licence preferred

• Licence To Perform High Risk Work (Forklift) or able to obtain this ticket

• Great time management skills
