Horticulturalists

Protech SA is seeking skilled Horticulturalists to join our client's team in Onkaparinga, a vibrant and growing metropolitan area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about horticulture and landscaping to work in a dynamic environment.

About the Role:

• Immediate start with casual, ongoing work.
• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
• Competitive pay rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of landscaping tasks, including planting, pruning, irrigation, and turf laying.
• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems across various landscapes.
• Operate machinery and equipment for landscape construction and maintenance.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety standards and protocols.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate III in Horticulture.
• Construction white card.
• MR truck licence or above, with reliable transport.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in horticulture or landscaping.
• Any RII plant tickets are advantageous.

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment.
• Proficiency in operating landscaping machinery and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
