Things that work for us:
Cert III in Hospitality or a Cert III in a similar field
Experience with Food Services area including meal preparation, presentation, and distribution; Café Service
Capable of assisting residents with laundry, putting clothes away, and general household tasks including cleaning
Comfortable developing a relationship with each resident in your care, building trust and familiarity and supporting everyone’s personal space to be homelike, respectful and safe
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Know, understand, and adhere to the requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Food Safety standards
Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
