Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job advertisements, coordinating interviews, reference checking and handling candidate communication

  • Manage new hire documentation and onboarding and offboarding processes

  • Be the first point of contact for general HR queries, support and process inquiries, escalating complex matters as needed

  • Assist with administering the performance review process, tracking probationary periods, and ensuring compliance with policies

  • Maintain HR spreadsheets, track key HR metrics, and assist with preparing reports for leadership

  • Assist with drafting HR-related internal communications, including business initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Experience in recruitment or HR related field

  • Experience in the construction machinery or similar industry is preferred

  • Good knowledge and demonstrated understanding of Fair Work and HR best practices in Australia

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Mandarin is required
