We are currently seeking HSE Advisor’s to join our growing team in WA.

These newly created positions are to support additional new work scopes in civil construction, at sites across the Pilbara.

Rosters are 2 & 1 from Perth only.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide advice and assistance to ADENCO Managers and Supervisors for effective identification and management of HSEQ related risks.
• Monitor personnel’s compliance to health, safety and environmental legislative, client and ADENCO HSEQ management system requirements
• Conduct HSEQ related inspections at pre-determined intervals
• Prepare toolbox material and assist with meeting presentations.
• Maintain project related HSEQ compliance registers, matrixes, and records.
• Ensure HSE Alerts received are communicated to the workforce.
• Develop HSEQ Alerts in consultation with stakeholders.
• Monitor HSEQ performance against set objectives and targets through the compilation and notification of statistics and reports.
• Coordinate injury management requirements for personnel in consultation with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project related training matrixes in consultation with the Project Management team.
• Be familiar with the ADENCO HSEQ management plan, Client HSEQ management plans, legal obligations, and other procedural requirements.
• Ensure that HSEQ requirements detailed within ADENCO HSEQ management plans are appropriate for the scope of work and are communicated to and understood by stakeholders ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, standards, and risk management activities.
• Implement and monitor compliance with the ADENCO and/or Client HSEQ management plans.

 
Background

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Minimum of Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HSEQ Advisor role
• Experience writing HSEQ related reports
• Cert IV in Training and Assessing desirable
• ICAM or Audit qualifications desirable
• Experience within the Civil Construction Industry
• Able to work a 2/1 Roster
• Inductions with BHP / Rio / FMG and / or Roy Hill
