About Us: Baykan Enterprises is a Melbourne-based transportation company with over 10 years of experience in providing reliable delivery solutions. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Human Resource Adviser to join our team in Greenvale, Victoria.

Position Summary: The Human Resource Adviser will be responsible for supporting the business by providing expert advice on human resources and workplace relations matters, managing recruitment processes, and assisting in the development of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange advertising of job vacancies, interviewing, and testing of applicants

• Select and recommend suitable candidates for employment

• Maintain personnel records and HR information systems

• Provide advice to management on workplace relations policies, performance, and disciplinary matters

• Arrange staff inductions and provide information on conditions of service, salaries, and promotional opportunities

• Interpret legislation, awards, and agreements and provide advice on workplace matters

• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum Bachelor's qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

• Relevant work experience in human resources or a similar advisory role

• Previous HR experience in the transportation or logistics sector is desirable

• Strong knowledge of Australian workplace relations and HR practices

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality

• The ability to communicate in Turkish would be an advantage, as some of our drivers are native Turkish speakers with limited English proficiency
