Immediate start-Traffic Control & Labourers

Advanced Group Services are seeking an experienced Level 1 & 2 Traffic Controllers & Labourers to join our team in Surfers Paradise. As a Traffic Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic at our construction sites. This full-time position is responsible for implementing traffic management plans, directing traffic, and maintaining a safe working environment for both workers and the public.

What you'll be doing

• Implementing and monitoring traffic management plans to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists
• Directing and controlling the flow of traffic using various signalling devices and traffic control equipment
• Maintaining a safe work environment by identifying and mitigating potential hazards
• Communicating with site supervisors, project managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate traffic control activities
• Complying with all relevant safety regulations and procedures
• Providing support and guidance to less experienced traffic controllers, as required

  
What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Traffic Controller in the construction industry
• Knowledge of traffic management principles, traffic control devices, and relevant safety regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with both colleagues and the public
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to respond to changing traffic conditions
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods, working in all weather conditions, and adhering to site safety requirements
• Valid driver's licence and Traffic Controller certification
• Has completed the required training and assessment for a Level 1 & 2 qualification.
