About The RoleThe LHD Implementation Officer is responsible for implementing key enterprise solutions for the NSW Local Health Districts that are the responsibility of the State ODS Program Team within the Ministry of Health. This is a statewide role which requires some travel to hospitals throughout NSW.

The LHD Implementation Officer Is Responsible For

  • Initial training and orientation for the role will be completed at the Ministry of Health building, 1 Reserve Road St Leonards.
  • Providing operational support for the implementation of applications managed by the State ODS Program team.
  • Deliver training to ODS System end-users in a face-to-face or Teams/online training environment.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure completion of all implementation/training tasks and records.
  • Providing end user support for the Local Health District /Specialty Health Network and the Ministry of Health to implement portal utilisation to facilitate performance improvement.

Health Manager Level 1 salary range is $84,436– $112,331 plus Superannuation (11.5%), with a 38-hour working week.

What You Will Do

  • Travel to hospitals to deliver face-to-face and online training to hospital administrative staff to ensure the successful implementation of Paperlite in the Revenue Portal. This will require a valid driver’s license.
  • Travel to facilities to provide onsite support including one-on-one coaching and troubleshooting in hospital admissions areas during go-live week.
  • Record details of any issues/defects or enhancement requests to support continuous improvement and respond to queries from end-users via Teams/email.
  • Undertake all required administrative activities to ensure effective tracking and KPIs.
About YouWe are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of the State ODS Program with the following experience and knowledge areas:
  • Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of patient admission processes in public health facilities.
  • Good analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
  • Experience in running customised training sessions.
  • Experience in implementing complex enterprise systems that impact numerous stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written and verbal with the ability to influence and inspire groups of people with a passion for transferring knowledge and skills.
