Position: In-Centre Cleaner

Type: Part-time (Approx 20 hours + per week)

About Us:

Evolution Early Learning is a leading childcare centre on the Sunshine Coast, dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing and stimulating environment. We are currently seeking an in centre cleaner- a cleaning champion with previous experience in a similar role who is meticulous, has attention to detail to join our team and support our centre operations.

Role Overview:

As an our in-centre cleaner at Evolution Early Learning, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our children, staff, and families. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing designated areas, ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards, and supporting the smooth operations of our centre.

The position will commence as a casual / PPT position of approximately min. 20hours per week. (Wednesday to Saturday)

 Key Responsibilities:

-              Perform cleaning duties in accordance with established procedures and guidelines

-              Maintain cleanliness of designated areas, including classrooms, common areas, laundry and restrooms

-              Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and utilized efficiently

-              Assist in maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment for children and staff

-              Collaborate with the team to uphold cleanliness standards and hygiene practices

 Skills and Experience:

-              Proven experience in commercial cleaning or similar role

-              Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

-              Knowledge of cleaning protocols and hygiene standards

-              Excellent communication and teamwork skills

-              Ability to work independently and follow instructions closely

The successful candidate must have or be willing to obtain a blue card and police check.
