Industrial Electrician

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join the team at POWINS Pty Ltd in Forrestdale, WA. As an Electrician, you will play a vital role in manufacturing of the electrical switchboard , Switchrooms and substations. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the ongoing success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Perform electrical installations on a variety of industrial equipment and systems

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions

• Liaise with other tradespeople and engineering teams to coordinate work

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work performed

• Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical codes, regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

• Qualified electrician with a current Electrician's License

• Extensive experience working as an Industrial Electrician, ideally in a similar manufacturing or production environment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with industrial control systems, PLCs and motor control equipment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
