Industrial Electricians

We are seeking a versatile electrical technician for our client's Balcatta operations.

The role will be to provide support to our project and service teams with the installation of Controls System upgrades to new and existing Mechanical Services Switchboards and Panels.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an interactive and collaborative team environment, you will be responsible for the build, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment including switchboards.

The installations will be both "in & outside" the metro area. A vehicle will be supplied to the successful candidate.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Electrical switchboards build and installation work
  Layout, mounting, and wiring of electrical panels to Australian Standards and customer specifications. Interpretation and review of electrical drawings. Field wiring, termination and labelling of electrical systems to electrical drawings. Connections to VSD, PLC, HMIs, and other electronic equipment. System testing and commissioning. 
• Commissioning of industrial systems
  Collaborate with the engineering team on the commissioning of industrial systems.
• Quality adherence
  Ensure that all work undertaken is consistent with quality standards with company policies and procedures. 

The successful candidate must have:

• Electrical and control services Installations experience
• Switchboard and panel wiring systems experience
• Good knowledge / experience with Instrumentation
• Western Australian A-Grade Electrical Licence
• Generator control system programming (preferred not essential)
• Ability to work from customised drawings
• Current WA Driver Licence
