Industrial Painter

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. As an Industrial Painter, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and durability through effective application of various types of paint and coatings. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to prepare surfaces, apply coatings, and finish products, contributing to our commitment to excellence and innovation.

Your role will involve collaborating with other team members to optimize production schedules and maintain a smooth workflow, while also addressing any issues that may arise during the painting process. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in industrial painting and be familiar with different paint types, application techniques, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

·         Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers, as necessary.

·         Mix paint with solvents and additives to achieve desired colour and texture.

·         Operate spray guns and other equipment to apply coatings accurately and efficiently.

·         Inspect finished surfaces for quality and ensure they meet specifications.

·         Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

·         Collaborate with production teams to meet project timelines and deadlines.

·         Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to minimize hazards and risks on the job site.

Requirements

·         Trade certification

·         Proven experience as an industrial painter.

·         Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and application methods.

·         Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in industrial settings.

·         Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical documents, and specifications.

·         Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
