Infrastructure and Security Analyst

About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Infrastructure and Security Analyst to join our team based in Mascot, NSW.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining secure and reliable IT infrastructure. You will work closely with various teams to implement and manage security measures, while contributing to the development of a security roadmap that aligns with our business needs.

How you will make an impact

• Manage day to day user support in conjunction with REMONDIS’s managed services provider.
• Oversight of ICT procurement, inventory control and logistics.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments and vulnerability management.
• Manage security risk register
• Maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
• Assist in managing ITIL implementation and ongoing administration
• Supplementary IT support where required
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Management of security risk register and tracking of status
• Security vulnerability identification and remediation activities
• Manage GRC tasks and NIST alignment

Who you are:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience as an Infrastructure or Security engineer/analyst.
• Well-rounded IT and security engineering experience.
• Proficient in key Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Office
• Excellent understanding of cyber-security frameworks especially NIST
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with GRC and service management platforms.
• Ability to work independently and proactively
