As an Infrastructure & Support Engineer at Strand, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional end-user support across all areas of the business. Your primary focus will be ensuring that our employees have reliable, secure, and efficient access to the tools and systems they need to succeed.
Working closely with the IT team, you’ll troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues and help maintain the core infrastructure that keeps our business running smoothly. From providing 1st and 2nd level support for end users to automating routine tasks with PowerShell, this is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and impact.

What You’ll Be DoingAssist in governing IT infrastructure and support both on-premises and cloud environments.Manage onboarding/offboarding of user accounts and IT equipment.Provide IT training and support for end users.Administer M365 in a hybrid environment.Help design and implement IT infrastructure, including hardware and networks, based on business needs.Monitor and maintain the performance, stability, and security of the IT infrastructure.Automate tasks using PowerShell and improve infrastructure efficiency.Ensure data protection through regular backups, secure storage, and disaster recovery planning.Support and maintain VMware server environments and networks.Perform routine maintenance to keep systems optimized and secure

Who You AreBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years in infrastructure engineering or a similar role.Expertise in Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange).Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and VMware.Strong understanding of cybersecurity, firewalls, and intrusion prevention.Skilled in scripting/automation and backup/restore procedures for data integrity.Experience managing M365 in a hybrid environment, including SSO integrations.Solid IT troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Veeam backup software.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
