Insurance Broker - Account Executive

Product and Technical Requirements

*Technical insurance broking skills required for this role include -

• Sound level insurance product knowledge of the following:
  • Contract Works, including DSU (Annual and Single Project).
  • Public and Products Liability.
  • Professional Indemnity, including Design and Construction (Annual and Single Project).
  • Mobile Plant and Equipment / Motor Fleet.
• Developing to Sound level insurance product knowledge of the following:
  • Directors and Officers Liability / Management Liability.
  • Industrial Special Risks and Business Interruption.
  • Environment Impairment Liability.
  • Surety / Bond (Construction) Products.
• Developing to Sound level insurance product knowledge of the following:
  • All other classes of general insurance intermediated by CRE on behalf of our clients.
• Claims processes and claims broking pertaining to the above products.
• Understanding and awareness of legislative obligations pertaining to professional advice on general insurance to wholesale and retail clients

Systems requirements

Literacy in technology and systems in current use in the insurance industry, including:

• Sound to Excellent understanding of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Insurance Broking Systems (WinBEAT favourable).
• Document Management Systems (knowledge/use of OfficeTech favourable).
