Task & Responsibilities
  • Advise on the day-to-day insurance clients (or potential clients) information related to the Assistance and Claims areas
  • Ensure an efficient assessment of various reports and appropriate recording of information about clients and their policies and claims
  • Participate in the settling of insurance claims to ensure that both client and insurer in line with regulations and customer service guidelines including processing payments of approved claims
  • Liaise with different insurance companies and medical professionals
  • Record and update customer information accurately and comprehensively
    Where appropriate, negotiate claims settlements in a cost-effective manner, which is fair and reasonable to customers
  • Identify fraud and take the appropriate action
  • Communicate clearly, accurately and effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Liaising with Insurance clients including discussing insurance conditions, coverage and premiums
  • Analysing insurance policies
  • Keeping up to date with the insurance industry and the General Insurance Code of Practice
Qualification & Experience

  • Formal Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Insurance or a related discipline
  • At least three years of relevant Insurance Industry experience
