About the role
Team Medical is looking to bring on an energetic, results driven, and innovative Internal Account Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to our Sales Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities are:
Managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts to become a trusted advisor and drive revenue through repeat business and account expansion
Conducting regular account reviews to identify sales opportunities and maximise customer value
Maintaining accurate customer data and forecasting sales activity
Achieving quarterly sales targets across a wide range of healthcare consumables and equipment
Preparing accurate forecasts, updating CRM systems, and completing regular sales reporting
Collaborating closely with the broader sales team to share insights, plan account strategies, and develop tailored pitches for account expansion opportunities.

Skills and experience
Sales and Account Management Experience
Proven experience in internal sales, account management, or business development (ideally 2+ years)
Ability to manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers while identifying new opportunities
Communication and Relationship Building
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confident and engaging phone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly
Ability to become a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions
Results-Driven Mindset
Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for hitting goals and delivering value
Commercial Acumen
Understanding of B2B sales cycles and value-based selling
Ability to interpret sales reports, analyse customer buying behaviours, and act on insights
Organisational Skills
Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple accounts
Attention to detail when maintaining CRM data and forecasting sales activity
Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
Comfortable working with digital tools to manage customer communications and reporting
Industry Knowledge (Bonus)
Experience in medical, healthcare, or consumables distribution is highly regarded
Knowledge of medical products, terminology, or customer needs in the healthcare sector
