Internal Sales Representative

CMI Electrical Products are specialists in the manufacture and distribution of electrical cables and associated components for industrial, mining, infrastructure, commercial, petrochemical and information technology applications throughout South East Asia and Oceania. CMI is a fully owned subsidiary of the IPD Group.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting directly to the NSW State Manager, this role will be based at our office in Lidcombe.

• About the role
• Engaging with customers over the phone to promote products and services, meet sales targets and customer needs.
• Preparing accurate and timely quotes for customers, ensuring all details are clear and meet their requirements.
• Proactively following up on quotes provided to customers to encourage decision-making and address any questions or concerns.
• Delivering exceptional service in every customer interaction, ensuring a positive experience that fosters loyalty.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support.
• Efficiently processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to meet customer demands.

About you 

• Previous experience in a customer service position within a wholesale or retail environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask
• Team player
• Intermediate computer skills
• Electrical Industry experience is welcomed but more important is you, the person.
• Enthusiasm, energy, the ability and desire to learn are definite requirements to ensure your success.
