Investment Coordinator General
The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) is seeking to appoint an Investment Coordinator General to join its team. This role oversees and monitors functions to improve coordination and identify streamlining and reform opportunities.
Reporting to the Secretary, DJSIR, and leading a small team, the Investment Coordinator General drives departments/agencies and regulators to meet deadlines, improve accountability of the development assessment process and facilitate quicker decision making to secure investments.
The successful candidate will have extensive government experience, good commercial acumen, proven ability to work with industry and the private sector, and a track record of collaborating across government with senior leaders, departments, agencies and regulators.
