About the role

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our growing medical practice, Glengala Health, located in Sunshine West, Victoria. As a full-time or part time GP, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare to our diverse patient community. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative, patient-centred team that is committed to delivering exceptional medical services.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions

• Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and providing referrals to specialists as needed

• Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with all relevant medical and legal regulations

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and allied health providers, to coordinate patient care

• Actively participating in the ongoing development and improvement of our medical practice

• Providing after-hours on-call support and emergency care as required

What we're looking for

• Registration as a General Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing GP, preferred in a community-based medical practice

• Strong clinical skills and the ability to diagnose and treat a diverse range of medical conditions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues

• Commitment to providing patient-centred care and upholding the highest standards of professional ethics

• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology
