You will be responsible for managing and developing a product portfolio, including selecting and sourcing private label ranges to maximise profits, with guidance from a seasoned buyer.

What we’re looking for
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Oversee product portfolio, handling briefing, development, selection, and sourcing to meet financial and customer target
- Select and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate product information and imagery for seamless integration and launch
- Work with Category Management, imports, and other teams to align on strategies and priorities, ensuring smooth operations
- Manage product listings and ensure data accuracy, working with content and studio teams to optimise sales and customer satisfaction
- Conduct ongoing analysis of product performance and assist in strategic decision-making to enhance productivity
- Stay informed on market trends through research, sourcing fairs, and industry events, with regular overseas travel to build supplier relationships
- Working closely with the Quality and Compliance team, reviewing Quality Control Reports for all shipments, ensuring adherence to high standards for import ranges.
What you already have - 1-2 years experience in homewares/furniture sourcing, preferably for Australian retail, with a strong understanding of import supply chain processes
- Proven success in identifying and sourcing private label products, with consideration for existing ranges and performance
- Experience in sourcing from international manufacturers (Asia Pacific Region) and the ability to travel overseas to fulfill role responsibilities
- Strong Excel and analytical skills for financial planning and trend identification; previous eCommerce experience is highly valued
- Excellent written and verbal communication, coupled with strong relationship management abilities
- Interest in AI technology to enhance work efficiency
