This is a Junior Content Writer role with one of the leading companies in AU right now 🔥 -- Fulcrum -- with an amazing team. They are continuing to grow rapidly. This is the chance to join right as the 🚀 takes off.

More About the Role at Fulcrum 🧐🧐

### **Why this role?

  • * This isn’t just any writing job.

You’ll be part of a small, close-knit comms team where your work directly contributes to campaigns for well-known Australian and global brands. You’ll get to write content that’s smart, strategic and genuinely interesting — think pop-culture-infused SEO articles, design-led blog pieces, or content built to land PR coverage. One day you might be writing about colour psychology in home design; the next, breaking down the best celebrity living rooms (yes, really). You’ll learn how to:

  • Write across tones, audiences, and industries
  • Use SEO to get content seen and ranked
  • Produce digital PR assets that get picked up
  • Build content with purpose — not just to fill space ### **What you’ll be doing:**
  • Writing original, well-researched articles (no ChatGPT shortcuts here)
  • Creating category and SEO content to improve visibility
  • Crafting blog posts and feature-style articles
  • Writing meta descriptions and optimising for search
  • Adapting your tone for different clients and industries
  • Collaborating with the SEO, Outreach and PR teams
  • Taking feedback and iterating fast
  • Proofing and editing your own work to a high standard ### **What we’re looking for:** You don’t need years of experience — but you do need to _love writing_.

That’s the non-negotiable. We’re after someone who’s sharp, thoughtful, and knows the power of a well-structured sentence. You’ll stand out if you:

  • Have a degree in journalism, communications, marketing or similar — or equivalent experience
  • Can show us writing samples you’re proud of (uni assignments, personal blogs, published pieces — all welcome)
  • Understand the basics of SEO, or are keen to learn
  • Can write clearly, concisely, and with a strong grasp of grammar
  • Are curious, thoughtful, and up for writing on topics that range from trending lifestyle content to more technical briefs
  • Are emotionally intelligent, easy to work with, and value a supportive team culture ### **This role is for you if:**
  • You’re a strong writer with an instinct for grammar, structure, and adapting tone — and you want to keep getting better
  • You’re curious, collaborative, and keen to learn how writing fits into SEO, digital PR, and outreach
  • You want to work in a team where your growth is supported and your writing actually gets read ### **Not for you if:**
  • You’re looking for a role where you can rely on AI tools to do the writing
  • You’re not open to feedback or don’t enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
  • You’re hoping to write long-form editorial essays — this role is fast-paced and client-focused ### **What’s in it for you:**
  • Hybrid working (2 days in-office, 3 from home)
  • A clear growth path: Junior Writer → Content Writer → Senior Writer → Strategy/Leadership roles - $50K–$60K salary depending on experience
  • Monthly team socials and a genuinely collaborative culture
  • Exposure to top-tier clients and high-quality work from day one
