Junior Estimator Residential Construction

We have a residential Junior Estimator position available. If you are someone who is wanting to take the next step within the industry, and has drive please apply today. We are looking for someone who has been in the construction industry for three years or more. You will have training and support throughout the whole process so if you are entry level please do not hesitate to apply.

Responsibilities will include:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and variations

• Obtain and review quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers

• Preparation and issue of purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers with a detailed scope of works

• Monitor all costs during the construction phase ensuring budgets and schedules are met

• Establish and maintain working relationships with suppliers and sub contractors

• Provide sales and administrative team support

• Visit sites, select, measure and track important metrics

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Three years’ experience in construction

• Strong understanding of residential construction processes and legislation

• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines

• Experience with digital software (preferably CUBIT, also can be trained)

• Knowledge of Buildertrend highly regarded
