Junior/Cadet Estimator (Residential Construction)

Your Role

As a Junior/Cadet Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our construction team, contributing to the planning of construction works. Your primary responsibility will be to assess projects, estimate the costs associated with residential construction projects and liaise with the head Production Estimator and provide administrative support to your team. You will be trained and supported by our Head Estimator and the Construction Team.

Reporting to the Estimator, key components of the role are:

• Assisting in the preparation of timely and accurate estimates for various construction projects.

• Learn to compile bills of quantities for construction commencement under supervision.

• Assisting in obtaining pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Contributing to accurate budgeting processes.

• Provide reports and workflow documentation as appropriate

• Follow up documentations directed by the Estimator

Your Skills & Experience

We anticipate that you will have some experience within the construction industry / within the residential building space and you will possess a high level of software adoption.
