About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our team at Little Kalymnos' in Earlwood, NSW. As a casual Kitchen Hand/ dish washer and food preparation. you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the seamless delivery of delicious Greek-inspired cuisine to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting our experienced chefs with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients

• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment by regularly cleaning and sanitising all work surfaces, equipment, and utensils

• Restocking and replenishing ingredients and supplies as needed

• Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met

• Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to kitchen requests

• Adhering to all company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

• A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

• Excellent time management and the ability to work effectively under pressure

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• A current Food Safety Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
