Labourer/Truck Drivers & Leading Hands

We are currently seeking experienced Telco Labourers/Truck Drivers and Leading Hands to support our cable recovery crews for an immediate start on a new project in Camberwell. This position offers ongoing work with opportunities for career advancement and upskilling for the right candidates.

Requirements:

• Telco experience preferred but not essential, however construction industry experience essential

• Construction induction card and a drivers licence is essential

• Telstra One card, Confined space, Traffic management, Asbestos and other related tickets highly regarded

• Must be physically fit and capable of meeting production targets, this project suits people who enjoy physical work

• Some tasks will involve working with lead cable, applicants must be capable of following industry PPE procedures and practices for Lead Risk Work, and undertake required monitoring

• MR or HR licence and proficiency with manual gearbox are required

• Detail-oriented, integrity and personal organisation a must

• A Police background check with No Reportable Outcomes will be required by our client

• Leading Hands must be able to organise and work with a small team, co-ordinate site assets, run pre-start and toolbox meetings, problem solve issues, read and understand plans, efficiently and competently complete required safety and admin paperwork, and reliably report to supervisors

• Available to work Monday to Friday, with some overtime opportunities. Punctuality, reliability and own reliable transport are a must
