Lead Educators/Educators

Our newly renovated Centre in the heart of Petrie is open for business.

We are looking for Lead Educators/Educators to join our team. We are a small team, privately owned and not part of a big chain.

We are looking for Educators who holds their Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood or above or willing to study.

The successful applicant must have a passion for working with children, as well as:

• Create engaging environments for children to explore and document their learning and development at a high standard.  
• Building and maintaining relationships with our amazing children, families, and educators. 
•  Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
• Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.
• Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
• Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.

Skills and experience

• Hold Cert III or above or be willing to work towards 
• Hold a valid Blue Card
• Hold a current First Aid Qualifications (Early Childhood specific)
• Previous experience working in an Early Education and Care service
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Positive, caring attitude with a focus on teamwork
• Professional presentation
