Madewell Constructions is a growing building company based in North Sydney. Due to continuous growth with new projects being secured. This role is for a Leading hand carpenter We are a small team of dedicated Carpenters builders, plumbers and electricians in house and seek a like minded hard working team player to help to grow the company.

We work hard but also understand that people have a life beyond work so we try to ensure that you keep your weekends and also we are flexible with time off and we also shut down during Christmas so everyone gets a rest.

About You:

we are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to Work under a Project Manager. This exciting opportunity provides a positive working environment with strong growth opportunities within the company. Responsibilities:

• Supervising and managing direct employees carpenters.

• work on the tools as a carpenter. (Licenced required for carpentry)

• Planning and scheduling of trades. Arranging supplies of materials and equipment.

• Managing onsite issues as they arise

• Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard of quality

• Completing daily site diary effectively and clearly

• WHS management and implementation

• Liaising with clients in a clear and professional manner. Communication and ensuring client satisfaction is vital to our operations

The person:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience

• Must have Carpentry Licence.

• Trade background

• Great eye for detail and finishes (quality is important)

• Reliable, honest, and punctual character

• Effective organisational and communication skills

• Effective time management and attention to detail

• Able to utilise our building software: Buildertrend app through a smartphone. To take photos and do daily log reports.

• We can provide a BT50 Ute as a company vehicle

• White card and driver’s license

Salary: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
