Leading Hand Diesel Fitter

Spinifex Recruiting is partnering with a leading mining operation in the Parkes region to recruit an experienced Mobile Equipment Maintenance Leading Hand. This is a permanent residential position on a 7/7 roster, Days Only!, offering excellent career development and stability.

The Role:
Reporting to the Mobile Equipment Maintenance Team Leader, you will lead a team responsible for underground mobile equipment maintenance, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Allocating tasks, providing technical support, and leading daily maintenance activities

• Supporting fault diagnosis and ensuring quality repairs

• Keeping accurate maintenance records and supporting planned maintenance changes

• Conducting inspections and promoting a Zero Harm culture

About You:

• Trade qualification (Plant Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, or Diesel Mechanic)

• 5+ years' mining or heavy industry experience

• Previous leadership or Leading Hand experience

• Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork

• Current C Class Australian Driver's Licence

• Willingness to relocate to Parkes, Forbes, or nearby areas if needed
