The Opportunity
  
SPS is now looking to welcome an experienced Leading Hand Truck Mechanic to join their team at Ningi near Bribie Island. As a key part of the mechanical team, you will be responsible for maintaining a large fleet of 50-plus vehicles and civil equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a well-established company in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting regular planned mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Responding to and addressing equipment breakdowns in an appropriate timeframe.
• Ordering necessary parts and materials when required.
• Adhering to all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Policies & Procedures and ensuring safety is not compromised.
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and operating procedures.
• Ability to complete relevant paperwork and documentation.

About You

• Prior experience as a Truck Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic  
• Relevant Australian recognised trade qualifications (essential).
• Ability to work in highly compliant environments, with a commitment to health, safety, community, and the environment.
• Must be currently residing in Australia.
• Will need to provide your own hand tools.
