Learning and Development Analyst

About the Role

Our client, focused on the National Security of Australia, is seeking a Learning and Development Analyst to support the design and development of a resilient training system, including the management of delivered training. This role involves undertaking training needs analysis, collaborating with stakeholders, developing and maintaining training documentation, and transitioning learning solutions to business-as-usual operations.

The Successful Candidate

• Knowledge of e-learning systems principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of the design of competency-based training and accreditation programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and implementing training documentation policies and processes.
• Proven ability to manage training resources effectively.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake training needs analysis to develop training solutions to be designed and delivered in-house or by vendors to a required business standard.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on the design, development, and delivery of learning and development services.
• Develop, implement, and maintain supporting training documentation policies and processes, ensuring all training material is classified appropriately.
• Contribute to the design, development, and transition to BAU of learning solutions, including e-learning solutions, in a way that is sensitive to and fully compatible with business operations.
• Share expertise with others, guide and mentor less experienced employees, and work collaboratively to achieve business outcomes.
• Adhere to documentation standards and procedures and configuration control standards.
