Legal Researcher

As a Legal Researcher you’ll play a key part in supporting complex matters and client advisory work. You’ll:  

• Conduct legal research on statutes, previous court decisions, and legislative materials for litigation and advisory purposes;
• Provide research for advice on legislative and regulatory disputes;
• Prepare advice related to commercial issues;
• Provide strategic advice to clients and agents across multiple legal areas;
• Attend Tribunal and court to assist solicitors in representation;
• Competitive salary starting from $74,00 to $78,000.

What You Bring

• Relevant bachelor qualification or higher, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in an Australian legal firm;
• Strong skills in research, drafting, and client communication;
• Preference for multilingual candidates fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Persian; 
• Confidence conducting hearings and engaging with witnesses;
• An organised, proactive approach and genuine passion for the law;
